🔶 قالیباف: The U.S. will pay the price for killing civilians in Qeshm
Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic with the United States and Speaker of the Parliament, reacted to the United States’ morning attacks on various parts of Iran, including Qeshm, which resulted in the killing of several civilians, and called them “a continuation of the Minab and Larestan/ Lamerd atrocities.”
He wrote in a post on the X network: “The United States contaminates its hands with a new crime every day. Americans have grown accustomed to compensating for the slaps they take in the battlefield by spilling the blood of innocent people.”
Qalibaf warned that America “will pay the price for this act.”
According to reports from Iranian media, in the early-morning attacks on Qeshm Island on Thursday (July 30), the father and mother of a family and their 2-year-old child were killed. The attack also left two people injured.
Ahmad Nefisi, the political, security, and social deputy of the Hormozgan governor-general, had said in this regard that search, rescue, and debris removal operations at the site of the attack were completed through the efforts of rescue forces, operational units, and support teams, and the bodies of the deceased were pulled out from under the rubble.
