🔶 Transfer of the bodies of five members killed from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from Iraq to Iran
Iranian media outlets, by publishing images, reported that the coffins of five members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who were killed in attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia on positions of Iraqi semi-military groups supported by the Islamic Republic were transferred to Iran. According to reports, the coffins were transported via the Mehran border.
IRNA news agency announced the names of the dead as Morteza Akbari, Ali Asghar Astaneh, Abolfazl Motaghi, Amir Abbas Derhamfirosh, and Mohammad Rostami. Most of them were from Khomein?—Kashan County.
Meanwhile, the Mehr news agency reported the transfer of 33 Iranian injured people from Iraq to Iran via the Mehran border.
In joint attacks by Saudi Arabia and the United States on positions of groups aligned with the Islamic Republic, including the Popular Mobilization Forces, on Wednesday, July 29, dozens of people were killed and injured.
