🔶 Rubio: The Iranian regime has never faced a president like Trump

Marko Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, said in an interview with the program “My View with Lara Trump” that the Iranian government has never faced a president like Donald Trump.

Rubio said: “I don’t think the Iranian regime has ever faced a president like Trump; someone who really acts.”

He added that over the past 20 or 30 years, the Iranian government “had become accustomed to allowing not only the United States, but the international community, to let it stay safe from the consequences of its actions through lying, violating agreements, and deception.”

These remarks come as the White House says Iran will continue to “pay a price” unless it meaningfully returns to negotiations.

The Trump administration has accused the Islamic Republic of attacking commercial vessels and U.S. forces after the signing of the understanding with the United States.
