🔶 Mohsen Rezaei: Until Iran fulfills 7 conditions, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened and we will not negotiate
Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, announced that Iran has presented seven new conditions “through intermediaries.” He emphasized that “as long as these conditions are not implemented, Iran will neither open the Strait nor return to negotiations.”
Rezaei, while stating this, also added that the steps of the Islamic Republic’s demands have been announced in such a way that “first, the fulfillment of commitments; then Iran’s decision to reopen the strait; and then the resumption of shipping based on new arrangements agreed upon with Oman.”
He also added that the discussion over the “Strait of Hormuz is not only about the agreement; part of the guarantee for implementing the agreement is also involved.”
In another part of his remarks, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic claimed that the Iranian government still has the capability to continue missile and drone operations. He also rejected the claim that continuous attacks will eventually erode Iran’s ability to respond, calling it a hypothesis that has not been realized.
