🔸 The IRGC Navy announced attacks on several cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, fresh reports have been published about Israel and the United States preparing to carry out new attacks on Iran.
🔸 Donald Trump, the U.S. president, also said that Washington is not negotiating with Tehran and, without giving details, stated that “something will happen soon.”
🔸 In a statement on Thursday, 30 Mehr, the IRGC said it targeted four ships while transferring oil shipments to one another and that these vessels caught fire. The IRGC also claimed that three other ships collided with naval mines.
🔸 Based on this statement, these incidents occurred on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. No independent confirmation about the status of these seven ships has been published yet.
🔸 Since the start of the war between the United States and Israel with Iran in Esfand of last year and, as a result, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC refers to ships that pass through the Strait of Hormuz via a route close to Oman as “offenders.”
