🔶 IRGC Claims Attack on Two Oil Tankers in the Strait of Hormuz

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it targeted and stopped two “non-compliant” oil tankers that intended to transit the Strait of Hormuz. According to the IRGC, the tankers were under “air escort” by the U.S. Army while passing through this strategic waterway.

In its statement, the IRGC claimed that the two oil tankers had not complied with the regulations announced by Iran and, for that reason, were targeted.

The IRGC also said that four other oil tankers moving along the same route quickly changed course after the first two tankers were targeted.

According to the IRGC, the tankers have returned to their previous positions.
