Barak Ravid, a reporter for the website “Axios,” on the morning of Sunday, 11 Mordad (August 2), cited two American officials and a source familiar with the matter, reporting that Mohammad bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, had expressed concern on Saturday in a conversation with Donald Trump, the U.S. president, about his plan to launch a large-scale attack against the Islamic Republic.

In a social media post on Truth Social, Trump announced the cancellation of an attack on the Islamic Republic and said the decision was taken following a request from Iran and regional countries. He did not name these countries.
