🔻 A projectile hit near King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

The coalition led by Saudi Arabia says that hours after an attack on Riyadh’s international airport, a “projectile” landed near King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, in the east of the country.

The coalition spokesperson said on the X social network that the projectile landed near the airport, but did not release any details about its type, the source from which it was fired, or any potential damage.

Dammam airport has become one of the key alternative routes for flights that cannot use the capital’s airport following the recent wave of attacks on Riyadh.
