🔻Rubio: An American citizen was killed in an attack on the Riyadh airport Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, said that an American citizen was killed in the attack while condemning the Houthis’ attack on the Riyadh airport. Rubio wrote on X: “The United States strongly condemns the recent attacks by terrorist Houthi forces on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including today’s attack on the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which took the lives of a large number of innocent people, including an American citizen.” He added that these “shameful attacks demonstrate an unmistakable disregard for the lives of innocent civilians. These attacks must be stopped now.” He added that the United States is alongside Saudi Arabia and its people and expressed condolences to the victims and their families.
