On the eve of the 88th birthday of Empress Farah Pahlavi, Sunday, Mehr 19, Hamburg hosts a program to mark the occasion with the presence of a group of members of the Iranian community. The event, arranged by the Pahlavi Centennial Foundation and coordinated with the office of Empress Farah Pahlavi, is being held simultaneously in several other European cities.

The organizers say that the purpose of the program is to commemorate Empress Farah Pahlavi’s birthday and to review her role and place in Iran’s contemporary history.
