Trump told reporters on Saturday that Saudi Arabia has the ability to defend itself against attacks by Houthi militants supported by the Islamic Republic. He described the new attacks on Saudi Arabia as “terrible.” Trump, in response to a question about whether Saudi Arabia can defend itself against the Houthis, said: “They have the ability to defend themselves and they’re good fighters.
