🔻Yemen’s Houthis call for the immediate evacuation of Aden airport

Yemen’s Houthis, who are aligned with Iran, have asked people present at the Aden International Airport to immediately evacuate the area.

The Houthis cited as the reason for this request the presence of a Saudi Arabian military transport aircraft, which, according to them, is carrying weapons.

Yahya Sarea, a spokesperson for the Houthis, announced this on a post on the X network, but did not provide further details.

Saudi officials have not, so far, responded to the matter.

Yemen’s Houthis and Saudi Arabia have resumed clashes with one another after months of a ceasefire.
