🔶 Trump wants two current ministers not to be present in Israel’s next government

According to reports, citing American sources, Donald Trump, the U.S. president, wants Israel’s next government to be formed without the presence of Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, the country’s two right-wing ministers.

According to these sources, Trump believes that settlers’ violence undermines his regional outlook and makes it more difficult to implement.

In an interview with the Axios website, Trump also said that he has not yet thought about intervening to form a national unity government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, but that he will examine the matter.

Regarding Netanyahu’s position in the election, he said that the initial reports he has received were “horrific,” but that the Israeli prime minister now has a “fairly good” situation.

Trump added: “I’ve heard that my support made a big difference for Bibi.”

On Wednesday, October 28, he also said about the war with Iran: “This war can end whenever he wants.”

According to him, ending the war requires Iran’s explicit commitment to not having nuclear weapons, and he called Iran the “greatest state supporter of terrorism in the world.”
