🔻Reuters says Qatar has put forward a new proposal for a deal between the United States and Iran. Under this plan, the two sides will take steps to build trust with each other over the course of seven days. However, an Iranian senior official—who Reuters has not named—has called Qatar’s proposal unacceptable. At the same time, The Wall Street Journal has reported signs that the U.S. and Israeli militaries are preparing to resume attacks on Iran.
