This year’s Halloween celebrations will be held on Saturday, October 31 (Aban 9). For the past few days, Tehran Bazaar has been getting ready for the occasion and showcasing its decorations. Although Halloween does not have an official, public place in the Islamic Republic, and the holding of such events or the sale of related items has been announced as forbidden by oversight and trade authorities, nevertheless in recent years the festivities have been taking place unofficially and in secret.
