🔻Milan and Inter clubs will unveil their new stadium plan in the city of Milan tomorrow night. The project, which is set to be completed by 2031, will have a capacity of 71,500 people and will be one of the five largest stadiums in Europe.
🔹According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the design of the new stadium has been entrusted to Norman Foster, a prominent 91-year-old architect, and the architecture firm Manica.
🔹Unlike the current San Siro, this stadium will have an oval shape and will be built with two tiers of stands. The 37-degree slope of the stands behind the goals, similar to Dortmund’s “Yellow Wall,” is expected to preserve the exhilarating, vertical feel of the current stadium. The stadium’s height will also be a little under 60 meters.
🔹One of the most attractive features is the “club tunnel,” where some holders of premium tickets can watch the players enter the pitch from behind glass.
🔹The stadium plan will be unveiled tomorrow night, and its construction is expected to be completed by 2031.
