🔶 Trump Says He Is "Very Satisfied" with the Performance of U.S. Defense Secretary Hegset

Trump wrote in a message on the Truth Social social network on Thursday, August 6: “I am very satisfied with the performance of Pete Hegset. The fake media, as usual, are spreading baseless, completely untrue rumors.”

He added, referring to his administration’s policies: “Everything has gone extraordinarily well; including our operations in Venezuela, which produced results in less than a day and made it possible for one of the worst criminals in the world—Nicolás Maduro—to be handed over to justice.”

Trump also referred to Iran and claimed: “As for Iran as well, everything is going very well. The country has been so weakened that it will never obtain nuclear weapons.”

The U.S. president, praising the defense secretary, wrote that Pete Hegset has “immense respect” among the armed forces and, with a remarkable increase in recruitment, has achieved an unprecedented record in this regard.
