🔻Trump’s order to reduce children’s vaccines and separate the MMR vaccine

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has signed an order calling for the reduction of children’s vaccines and also proposing the separation of doses of the mumps, measles, and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

Mr. Trump said: “Decades ago, children were receiving only a small fraction of the vaccines that are required today. At that time, people were much healthier—and of course, there wasn’t the current high rate of autism.”

The U.S. president has long expressed doubts about the safety of the MMR vaccines, but multiple studies have found no connection between these vaccines and autism.
