🔸 محسن رضایی: As long as the United States does not change its behavior, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened

Mohsen Rezaei, the new secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, threatened the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman, accusing the United States of creating insecurity in the Persian Gulf. He said that as long as this country does not change its behavior and does not accept Iran’s conditions, the Islamic Republic will not take steps to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Tasnim News Agency, on Tuesday, 20 Mordad, Rezaei also claimed that the United States “by imposing an unlawful war on Iran has put the entire region at risk.”

Rezaei said: “The United States must end the war, pay the blocked funds of Iran, and throughout the region, including Lebanon and Gaza, the war must end.”

According to him, other conditions have also “been conveyed to them through intermediaries.”

Rezaei added: “If an agreement is reached between Iran and Oman regarding the passage-and-traffic route in the Strait of Hormuz, then this agreement will be a separate matter from the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz.”

The remarks are being made while reports indicate an increase in maritime incidents affected by the Iran war.
