The cruise ship “Vila Vi Odyssey” began its journey two years ago as a “non-stop trip around the world.” But later, the company running this maritime trip announced bankruptcy. The company cited the sharp increase in fuel costs, which it said was caused by the Iran war, as the reason for its financial problems. With the ship halting its activities, it is estimated that about 200 passengers of this ship were stranded in Cambodia. Since the start of the war between the United States and Israel with Iran since last Esfand, global fuel prices have risen sharply. The tour operators said that the monthly fuel cost per ship cabin in some parts of Asia has increased from 1,800 dollars to as much as 8,000 dollars.
