South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun said there is a risk of a complete breakdown in diplomatic relations with Ukraine if tensions between the two countries continued to escalate.

During a parliamentary hearing, an opposition lawmaker said relations between Kiev and Seoul were essentially on the verge of a de facto severance of diplomatic ties. “Yes. If the escalation continues, I believe that is a possibility,” the South Korean foreign minister replied to the lawmaker.
