روح‌الله رحیم‌پور, journalist and political analyst, in reference to Donald Trump’s remarks about the record of the Islamic Republic’s actions against the United States, said that Trump is under pressure from public opinion and Democratic currents to justify the necessity of war.

According to him, the lingering uncertainty over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, the activities of proxy forces, and missile capabilities, as well as disrupting shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, are among the issues that Washington raises to justify the likelihood of attacks being resumed.
