European countries are jealous of Washington over its diesel deal with Moscow, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin told TASS.

“Amid an energy crisis caused by various developments, they are simply shooting themselves not only in the foot but all over the place. I don’t know, perhaps it's a kind of jealousy toward the United States," he said.
