The office of Prince Reza Pahlavi’s communications announced that on the third day of his trip to Brussels, he visited the Belgian Parliament and met with a number of members of parliament and ministers of the country’s government. He also gave interviews to journalists from international media.

According to this report, practical European support for the people of Iran—especially ensuring secure and sustainable access to the internet, creating a global network of members of parliament to support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and for addressing cases of human-rights violations by the Islamic Republic—was among the main focuses of these meetings.

The office of Prince Reza Pahlavi’s communications added that opportunities for future cooperation between a free and democratic Iran and the international community, including Belgium, were also discussed in these meetings.
