Yasmin Ansari, the Iranian-born Democratic representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, condemned Donald Trump’s statements about taking further military action against the Islamic Republic in a message on the social network X, and called on the Democrats to work to end the war.

Yasmin Ansari: “Trump is once again threatening a 90-million-strong country with destruction. This is a crime against humanity. The Democrats must, as soon as we regain control of the House of Representatives and the Senate, immediately work to end Trump’s reckless war that he started by his own choice.”
