🔻Iranian athletes continued their performance at the Nagoya Asian Games, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals in athletics and weightlifting.

🔹Ali Amiriyan won the silver medal in the 800 meters and, after 16 years, brought a medal to Iran in this event.

🔹Ali Davoudi also became champion in weightlifting, and Mahsa Beheshti won the bronze medal.
