🔻Iran’s judiciary announced that Siaوش Jamshidi Kheirabadi, from the detention facility of the December 1404 protests, was executed this morning.

The judiciary, in its statement, accused Mr. Jamshidi of “multiple criminal records” and cited cases including “carrying and keeping an unauthorized weapon, fraud, theft, and participation in kidnapping.”

The statement also said that Mr. Jamshidi, on 18 Dey, fired at officers on Nasser Khosrow Street in Shahrekord and then fled, but two days later he was arrested while carrying a handgun.

According to this notice, Mr. Jamshidi’s death sentence was carried out after being confirmed by Iran’s Supreme Court.

Mr. Jamshidi’s execution takes place while Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, in part of a recent speech at the United Nations General Assembly, referring to the protests of Dey 1404, said: “The Iranian people in the past seven months, our people have been in the streets every night so that they can defend their Iran and so that they don’t allow those whom America and Israel had incited to give them weapons to come and create insecurity inside the country.”
