🔻Mehdi Taj, head of the Football Federation, appointed Mohammadreza Sattak, the former CEO of Sepahan, as the new head of the professional licensing committee this morning. He replaced Mostafa Zarei, who had recently stepped down from this position.

🔹According to his record, Sattak has committed extensive violations at Sepahan Football Club. His name has been repeated many times in documents related to the 92,000 billion-toman corruption case involving Mobarakeh Steel Sepahan.

🔹As reported by Iranian media, in part of this report, which relates to the years 2018 to 2021, it refers to a 200% and 300% increase in Sepahan’s club budget in 2019 and 2020, as well as violations and ambiguities in how this budget was spent.

🔹The termination of the contract with Amir Ghalenoei, the head coach of Sepahan, and the re-signing agreement with a threefold increase, multiple unregulated payments to players, several-times higher contract amounts, and payments to players who did not play even one minute, Sattak’s astronomical salary as a retired executive, and the unlawful return to work of Mehdi Taj at Sepahan along with receiving a 950-million salary, are among other cases of Sattak’s violations at Sepahan Football Club.
