Hassan Ameli, the Friday Prayer Imam of Ardabil, said in the sermons of Friday prayers in this city: “The U.S. election and Trump’s humiliating downfall are part of God’s retribution and the retribution of the oppressed against the oppressor. The whole world celebrated Trump’s defeat; this is worse than a thousand deaths—it is higher than an atomic bomb and part of our retribution.”

Ameli, on Friday, 15 Aban, said: “We have taken another revenge as well, and that is that Trump has been placed, from multiple angles, under the harshest rebukes, reprimands, and condemnations.”

The Friday Prayer Imam of Ardabil added: “We wished for Trump to die, but God gave him something worse than death. Now, after the defeat, under these pressures, he dies every moment and is looking for death, but cannot find death. This is the effect of the blood of our martyred leader. Our leader is not gone, and this is among the effects of him.”
