🔸 Following the eruption of the «Fuego» volcano in Guatemala, dozens of residents of areas around their homes have left, and officials in this country have issued an orange alert status.

🔸 Guatemala’s officials announced that the Fuego volcano entered a more severe stage of eruption from Monday evening, and with the ejection of ash and the flow of hot ash and rock from the volcano’s slopes, the danger to surrounding areas has increased. According to rescue forces, by the morning of Tuesday, at least 70 people have voluntarily left areas exposed to risk at the request of authorities.

🔸 Local officials have also ordered the evacuation of the «El Porvenir» and «Las Laguitas» areas in the San Juan Alotenango municipality, and rescue and transfer operations for residents are still continuing
