🔸Ukrainian officials say a Russian drone chased a vegetable seller in the city of Kherson and then exploded next to his vehicle; an attack that, according to Kyiv, is an example of a “war crime.”
🔸According to police and military officials in the Kherson region, the 52-year-old man, who has been introduced only as “Yuri,” was injured by shrapnel and is suffering from shock. A video released by Ukrainian officials shows a drone that, before the explosion, tracks this man around a vehicle that was being used as a sales stall.
🔸Andriy Sybiha, Ukraine’s foreign minister, said the attack is part of Russia’s targeted campaign to intimidate civilians and called for international condemnation. The Russian Ministry of Defense has not, so far, responded to these remarks. Both sides of the war deny targeting civilians.
