🔻 Coalition led by Saudi Arabia says it targeted a weapons depot and missile-launching platforms in Yemen
A military coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that it targeted several missile-launching platforms and the Houthis’ weapons depot in Yemen. At the same time, the Houthis reported another attack on Riyadh’s international airport.
Saudi operations were carried out one day after the sound of explosions was heard again in the capital of this country. Saudi officials warned residents by sending text messages about a “hostile air threat” against the city. In recent weeks, Riyadh has repeatedly been targeted by Houthi attacks.
Now, Turki Al-Maliki, a spokesman for the military coalition led by Saudi Arabia, wrote on Monday on the social media platform X that, in this operation, four ballistic missile launch platforms, a missile depot, and tunnels that the Houthis used were destroyed.
The Houthis control a large part of Yemen.
Al-Maliki described the aim of this operation as cutting the supply lines of Houthi paramilitaries in the areas under their control.
