🔻The UK defense minister has warned that his country has about a thousand days to prepare for a possible war with its adversaries.

Grant Shapps told the British newspaper The Telegraph: “The willingness of our enemies to harm us isn’t new. What has changed is their capability. By 2030, their forces’ power and their war economy could place them in an position to launch an attack.”

Mr. Shapps added that, based on this assessment, Britain has a little more than a thousand days to prepare with its allies for “victory” in the war.

He pointed to the possible Russian attack and said: “To avoid the worst-case scenario, we must be ready.”

The UK government has launched the “Ready” campaign, which advises people to keep drinking water, storable food such as canned goods, blankets, and a radio at home, so that they will have the necessary preparedness in the event of a cyberattack or severe weather changes and disruption to infrastructure.
