🔸 CENTCOM: Since the start of Iran’s maritime blockade, we have changed the routes of 55 ships
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said that since the start of the imposition of a maritime blockade against the Islamic Republic, “we have changed the route of 55 commercial ships and stopped two ships by firing at them.”
CENTCOM, which is in charge of military operations in the Middle East region, posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) with a photo of sailors aboard the warship USS Rass.
According to this military entity, the ship operates in the Middle East and more than “20 U.S. warships to support military missions, including the precise implementation of the blockade imposed by the United States against Iran.”
CENTCOM also announced that during the implementation of this maritime blockade, U.S. military forces boarded two ships as well.
