▪ Based on this report, citing three U.S. officials, J.D. Vance chaired the meeting, and Marco Rubio, the secretary of state, Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, Steve Witkoff, the White House special envoy, John Ratcliffe, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and General Dan Kine, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, took part.
