As the cost-of-living crisis intensifies, Iran International has received an image and information indicating that officials at the University of Medical Sciences have issued credit vouchers for employees to buy meat in installments. This shopping voucher enables purchases of up to 10 million tomans and repayment in installments.

Earlier reports also pointed to a decline in citizens’ purchasing power and their turning to installment purchases of household items and goods.
