🔻Yemen’s Houthis claim attack on Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery

The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen said on Thursday that they carried out an attack on “Ras Tanura,” Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery. The group also claimed an attack on the “Rabigh” refinery, a facility belonging to Aramco, and on King Khalid airports in Riyadh and King Fahd airports in Dammam.

Saudi Arabia has not yet confirmed these claims. However, on Thursday morning, the country said it intercepted two ballistic missiles fired from Yemen in the skies over Riyadh.

Shortly before this announcement, the French news agency reported hearing the sound of explosions in Saudi Arabia’s capital.
