🔶 Mojtaba Khamenei’s message; government promises to address economic problems

The cabinet of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Saturday, the 7th of Shahrivar (29 August), in response to a recent message attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei, released a statement promising that it would prioritize addressing the economic and living problems of the people.

Previously, in a written statement attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei, the Fourteenth Government had been asked to seriously follow up the chain of economic and livelihood problems, including inflation, unemployment, price management, and the market for goods and services.

In its response, the cabinet said that its plans would focus on curbing inflation, managing the market, creating jobs, directing capital toward domestic production, gradually reducing reliance on the dollar, and improving people’s livelihoods.

In the cabinet’s statement, it emphasized the preservation of “national cohesion, avoiding polarizing divisions, and discouraging statements.”

The cabinet also promised to stand up against U.S. and Israeli sanctions and pressures.
