🔶 Lebanese Army: Five soldiers were injured in an Israeli attack in the south
The Lebanese army announced on Sunday, August 2, that five soldiers of this country were injured in an attack by Israel in southern Lebanon. According to the army, these soldiers, while escorting civilians in a military vehicle in the city of Kafra, in the Bent Jbeil area, sustained minor injuries.
The Lebanese army did not provide further details about how the attack occurred or what type it was.
The Israeli army has also not yet responded to this report.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli forces in the city of Kounin in the Nabatiyeh Governorate destroyed explosives.
The sound of these explosions was heard in several areas of southern Lebanon.
The news agency also reported that explosions occurred shortly after midnight around the city of Haddatha, in the Bent Jbeil area.
According to the National News Agency, Israeli drones were also observed over Beirut and the southern suburbs of Lebanon’s capital.
