🔶 Saudi Arabia delays major investment summit due to Houthi attacks
Saudi Arabia, following the intensification of missile and drone attacks by Houthi forces supported by the Islamic Republic, has postponed its annual major investment summit until 2027.
The “Future Investment Initiative” (FII) was scheduled to be held in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, from October 26 to 29.
The organizers said on Monday, October 19 (27 Mehr), that the event’s new date in 2027 would be announced soon.
The decision was made after the Houthis’ attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on October 10. According to reports, at least 12 people were killed and more than 300 were injured in the attack.
Several of the world’s most prominent financial and investment executives were set to give speeches at the summit.
