🔶Israeli Army targets successor to Sinwar in Gaza

According to The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli army carried out an operation in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, October 3 (Mehr 11), with the aim, according to Israeli security sources, of killing Ali al-Umoudi, the successor of Yahya Sinwar in the leadership of the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza.

In this operation, attack helicopters and Israeli Army tanks targeted sites in Gaza.

Reports initially indicated that Israeli forces opened fire at around 8:00 a.m. toward suspicious targets that had approached the yellow line.

It was then determined that the main target of the operation was the current Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, Channel Kan Israel, citing security sources, reported that al-Umoudi was present at the residential complex that was hit, and that the likelihood of his surviving the attack is assessed as “very low.”
