Iranian domestic media, in a report, claim that senior commanders of the armed forces met with Mojtaba Khamenei.

It is claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei, who was introduced as the leader of the Islamic Republic after his father was killed, in this meeting called for a “prompt and effective response, without any geographical limitation” to every level of threat, and asked that the “target bank” be updated so that the assets of the United States and Israel could be made accessible for targeting.

No images of this alleged meeting have been released, and Mojtaba Khamenei has continued to remain behind the scenes since his introduction last Esfand, and no new audio or video of him is available.

The claim of this meeting and the statements attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei come at a time when Qatari mediators have been moving between the two sides, and the United States has warned Gulf allies to be ready for a new round of strikes starting on Aban 13, one day after the midterm elections.
