The governor of the Samara region wrote on the Max messaging app that, following a drone attack by Ukraine on the Samara region of Russia, two men died while cleaning up and dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
Alexander Novak, Russia’s deputy prime minister, said that after a break, Ukraine resumed its attacks on Russian oil refineries with a night attack on facilities located in the Samara region. He added that in this attack, three oil refineries and one gas and petrochemical complex in the targeted area were hit, and one of them sustained minor damage.
Yuri Ushakov, a foreign affairs adviser to the Kremlin, said that the new attacks on Russian oil refineries show that Ukraine has ignored Donald Trump’s request to stop such attacks.
