Images shared on social media show the moment passengers were evacuated from an airplane on the runway of Mashhad airport.

According to reports, a Sepehran Airlines flight that was traveling from Tehran to Mashhad on the evening of Tuesday, September 3rd, when landing at Mashhad’s Hashemi Nejad International Airport, went off the runway. According to reports, none of the crew or the 127 passengers of this flight were injured as a result of the incident.

Mahmoud Amani-Bani, the director of the airports of Razavi Khorasan province, said in an interview with Mehr News Agency that “the cause of the incident and the aircraft’s condition will be announced after specialized investigations by experts from the Civil Aviation Organization.”
