Four members of a Baha’i family in Iran were summoned to security and judicial authorities after a “raid by plainclothes officers” at their homes in Isfahan.

According to reports from Iran, on Monday, the second of Shahrivar, more than 20 plainclothes officers, while holding a judicial order, simultaneously searched the homes of Amin Tabianyefard, Bahariyeh Asgari-nesab and Nima Tabianyefard.

After searching the homes of members of the Tabianyefard family, their music-related instruments and equipment store was sealed.

In addition to confiscating documents and communications devices from members of this family, the officers also took money, gold, books, workshop equipment for instrument making, musical instruments, and even photography equipment.

It has been reported that, in one case, the home searches were accompanied by “assault, injury, and threats,” and these actions were carried out in the presence of the family’s two-year-old child.

After the searches were completed, Nima Tabianyefard was instructed to go to the Intelligence Office within two weeks. Amin Tabianyefard, his wife Nahid Tabianyian, and his mother Bahariyeh Asgari-nesab must also, within one week, report to the judicial complex located in the area of Zendan Dashtgerd in Isfahan.
