For the first time in Israel’s history, a Persian-speaking representative who has complete command of the Persian language will enter the Israeli parliament. Nazanin Sharifian, or in her Hebrew name, Dvora, will be entering the Knesset on behalf of the Yesh Atid party led by Gadi Eisenkot.
