🔺 Opposition from Europe and Asia to FIFA’s plan to transfer part of the World Cup to private investors

▪ Opposition to the controversial proposal by the world football governing body “FIFA” to hand over part of the commercial ownership of the World Cup and other competitions of this organization to private investors entered a new phase on Thursday, the 8th of Mordad; in such a way that after the firm opposition of the Union of European Football Associations “UEFA”, the Asian Football Confederation “AFC” also strongly criticized how this plan was presented and called for the process of reviewing it to be halted.
