📸 Nighttime destruction of street curbs and garden plots on Sana’i Street; the government’s open struggle with normal life

In the middle of the shock and bewilderment of the residents of Tehran’s Sana’i Street, on the night of Tuesday, 5 Mordad, municipal forces, with sledgehammers, carried out the destruction of the curbs by the garden plots and sidewalks of this street; the very spot directly in front of the popular cafés along this stretch, where at night young people gather and street music is performed. In the past days as well, cafés on this street had been sealed. In the meantime, many cafés have removed their outdoor tables and chairs for fear of possible clashes.
