🔻BBC Persian’s fact-checking section, using satellite images from 71, has observed signs of damage at at least 17 military and civilian airports in Iran—from the runways and buildings to aircraft and aircraft hangars. Alongside a reduction in flight capacity, these damages raise questions about the purpose of the attacks and their impact on Iran’s air transport infrastructure—questions that are still not yet fully answered.
