🔻As reports continue of talks between Iranian representatives and Qatar mediators in Doha to reach an agreement on resuming direct negotiations with the United States, it has been reported that a U.S. delegation will also join these talks.

Citing sources close to the mediators, the Qatari newspaper Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed has reported progress in negotiations between Tehran and Washington and said that a U.S. delegation will also come to Doha for “direct talks” with Iran.

The news is published after 12-hour talks between Qatar’s mediators and Iranian officials, and after reports by the Axios website that the negotiations are continuing in Doha.

Based on the Axios report, Qatar’s mediators were in constant contact with the White House during the 12-hour meeting on Friday.
